The Netherlands and Argentina met for the last match of the tournament. This time, the stakes were much higher. In a hard fought game, the two teams gave it their all in the field.

Just like the bronze medal game, the first half was score-less and both teams had equal opportunities, but each team only had one corner. Going into the second half, the result of the game was still up in the air.

It wasn't until the 50th minute of play that #18 Willemijn Bos scored the first goal. The orange and green fans went wild and continued their "Go Holland" chants. Argentina had a series of corners following Bos's goal, but goalkeeper, Mirte van der Vliet blocked all their shots.

In the 61st minute the Netherlands were awarded another penalty corner and #12 Caia van Maasakker made her famous drag flick shot into the left corner of the net. Five minutes later, the Dutch were awarded a second corner and Maasakker repeated the goal, making the final score of the game 3-0. The time ran out and fans erupted in cheers as the Netherlands became the 2009 BDO Junior Women's World Cup Champions!
