German ladies started with a deserved win in the Europeans

20th August, EHC (W) in Mönchengladbach: Germany - Ireland 3:0 (2:0)

20.08.2011 - The German women played their first match of GANT EuroHockey Championships in Moenchengladbach. The beat Ireland 3-0 (2-0) . Following a slow start, the DHB women showed a much better performance in the second half and ultimately deserved the win. Led by the experienced Natascha Keller the home team managed a good start in their mission "Olympic qualification."

"We did not expect to win, but we wanted a good performance.
